Unnamed Stars

For a nominal fee, you can name a star after yourself, or someone else of your choosing.

And, until it burns out, you have that name.

The sky is littered with them.

Both named and unnamed.

But you don’t get to name the brightest or most well-known.

You can purchase the left overs.

So, what is the point?

Why should it matter?

If there is anything out there, it isn’t as if they will be notified of the name change.

They won’t get a transmission beamed their direction that says…”hey, if you’re out there, we’ve decided to call that star to your right Planet Pendragon from here on out.

It would mean absolutely nothing to them.

Why should we approach anything differently on our own planet?

There are stars out there that we know the names of.

Most of them in the industry we aspire to rise in.

Let them shine.

Let your work speak and breathe for itself.

Don’t worry about other people putting a name on it.

It’s about what you do with it that defines it, not what anyone else says about it.

Shine on.
