Sometimes the hardest part about being creative…is appreciating the fact that you get to be creative. It isn’t coal mining. You’re not digging tunnels in a war-torn country.
Yes, you can be creative while doing those jobs, but it isn’t your job to be creative.
As an artist, no matter your craft, if you had a chance to see the problems other people are carrying around…you wouldn’t ever lament your own struggle again.
So, when you get to build something to life…make it matter.
Be a builder of dreams and don’t spend so much time being angry about what other people should have done.
You get to play in a sandbox for a livelihood. Even if your castle is made out of sand, you still have a castle.
Be a benevolent steward of your craft.
