The story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin is not a happy one.
If anything, it’s a cautionary tale illuminating the miracle that lemmings aren’t extinct.
Anyone that says, “follow my lead,” should be questioned.
Especially if they haven’t done anything except get elected to a job title.
True leadership is trailblazing.
It isn’t someone saying, “follow in my footsteps, it will be easier for all of us if you do what I tell you to.”
It’s someone saying, “this is going to be tough, but we’ll get through it together.”
There isn’t a compass or a roadmap for creativity.
What has worked for others may not work for you. And what works for you may not ever work for someone else.
Timing, relentless practice, and luck all play a part in opportunity.
How you measure success may not be by logging in to your bank account.
It may not be by counting sunsets seen.
How you operate and create your content is up to you.
Practice your work.
Don’t follow someone else off a cliff because they claim that it has worked for them.
How those people find success is by getting other people to follow them and preying on their dreams.
A room full of people with different hopes and goals…paying one person to tell them all they have to do is want it more…is not coaching, is not leading, is not helpful.
