All Flash. No Fire.
Being busy…is…well, bullsh!t.
Do you honestly know anyone who isn’t slammed?
Truly?
This isn’t to say that you shouldn’t say no to projects, or that you shouldn’t be protective of your time.
It’s simply to say that…are you living under a rock?!
Does that rock have a sword stuck in it?
Truly.
It’s a 24-hour day.
Light it on fire.
They aren’t printing Kings anymore.
And ‘Your Lordship’ doesn’t quite roll of the tongue as easily as history states that it used to.
If you want it, you’re going to have to make room for it.
And YEAH, you’re going to be busy.
Keep your head up and your tongue down.
Because… and I want you to hear me with the sound of thunder in my voice right now… if you want people to pay attention to you, don’t talk about it until your work is done.
Blowing smoke is a dime a dozen payout.
If you want to be more than a flash in the pan, show off your fire.
Delivering is more than desire, is bankable.
It’s easy to get caught up in the extasy of creativity.
Delivering on a promise isn’t about landing a windfall. It’s about showing that you can finish what you set out to accomplish.
Make your word count.
Finish your work.
Be accountable to your craft.
