Worry Hours

Worrying about something isn’t the same as working on something.

Recently, I’ve been on a few projects where others have told me that they’re just slammed with work, and they don’t have time to get anything done.

What I’ve found out is that what is taking up so much of their time…is that they are constantly worrying about the work that they aren’t doing.

It’s a broken cycle.

If work were fun, they would call it play.

It’s work.

It’s takes work to do work.

You have to put the time in.

You have to get it done.

The problem with putting things off is that all you are actually accomplishing, is creating more work and more worry for yourself and those around you.

That isn’t a good use of anyone’s time.

Someone has to pick up that slack.

Hiding from problems doesn’t help anyone.

Certainly not you.

Run into the wind.

Learn to embrace the resistance.

It’s not only the most direct path.

It’s the only one you can afford.

Start charging yourself for hours of worry.

Then have a conversation with yourself about your true worth.

Let’s hit it.

Change starts now.
