Whomever first used the phrase, “it’s not personal, it’s just business,” should be pinned up on fraud boards all over the world.
In order to create anything, ever, it has to be personal.
You have to take it to heart, or it just isn’t worth doing.
You are fostering a fleeting hope that just maybe, someone else out there will appreciate it as much as you do.

Everyone gets kicked around. Somehow. Someway.
Getting that knife twisted in that says, it’s not about your passion or you as a person, it’s just about money… that doesn’t stop the bleeding.
Take it personally.
But do so in a way that’s water off the ducks back.
You can’t let one little mishap stop you from continuing your work.
The world, as well as the creative market, is better when you are a part of it.
So.
Take part.
And take heart
