It is, and will always be, up to you.
Just you.
Ever vigilant, you have to put in the work.
It’s exhausting. It’s frustrating. It’s lonely.
That’s the job.
Whether you’re at the top of the mountain or in the base of the cave…each storm and every sunrise will pass with time.
No one is coming to help you.
A rescue mission is not under way.
If you aren’t ready to support your own creative endeavors…
If you aren’t able to throw yourself a life preserver…
Well…
Then that’s it.
There are a lot of “idea” people out there who just want to come up with the idea and then push it off to someone else who has to create everything and build the miracle and hope for the best…only to share credit or be left out entirely.
That’s not art.
That’s not helpful.
That’s not actually being creative.
Ideas are easy.
They are cheap.
Ideas don’t actually change anything until they are acted upon and applied with to a thick skin and stubborn mind.
Talk is cheap.
Get it done.
