The Write Time Is Now!
The problem I always run into is the creative bottleneck.
I get stumped and let it fester, and then I get bogged down, and then I mope…and then I procrastinate…and then NOTHING GETS DONE!
You and I can’t wait for lightning to strike.
That’s not how it works.
We have to work, relentlessly, in good weather and bad.
Trying to catch that lightning in a bottle is the hope, but you have to do more than set the jar out and wait for the storm.
The storm has to come from within, and wouldn’t we all rather be the old weather hardened and wrinkled man on the sea, with the hands that tell tales of their own… than the flash in the pan one hit wonder?
If you want your content to matter, you have to hone the craft.
You have to become a living breathing artist. It isn’t enough to say that’s what you are, it has to be something that you do.
Live it.
Breathe it.
Anybody can make something once.
Literally. Anyone.
Do the work.
It starts alone.
You have to believe that it can be done, that you can be the one to do it, before there is any crowd at all.
